Biography
Ebrahim Abouzari-Lotf is a senior lecture in the Centre for Hydrogen Energy, Institute of Future Energy at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He obtained his PhD-degree in Polymer Chemistry from Kharazmi University, Tehran, Iran, in 2010. Dr. Ebrahim has extensive experience in polymer and hybrid materials synthesis and modification for various electronic and energy applications. He has strong history of working collaboratively with scientists from industries and academic organizations to develop membranes for high temperature fuel cell and flow batteries as well as processable high performance polymers. Currently, the advanced materials research group is one of the active material development groups in the Department of Chemical Engineering. The group on-going researches to develop anion exchange membranes for fuel cells, adsorbents for environmental applications, and green methods and process to prepare various functionalized materials.
