Biography

Ghazi Ozair is Ex-Senior Technical Manager in NOMAC (an AcwaPower International IWPPO&M Co.) with the +40 years of practical experience in Desalination & Power Industry. He also worked as Chief Lead Engineer for many projects since 1981 in institues like Saline Water Desalination Research Institute, Al-Khobar (Ph-I & II) Power & Desalination Plants, SWCC Saline Water Conversion Corporation, Power & Utility Company for Jubail & Yanbu (Marafiq) for Al-Jubail & Yanbu Industrial Cities which are the World’s largest Independent Water & Power Projects Operating Company. He is a honorable member of many associations Like, International Desalination Association (IDA), American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA), GCC Power & Water, Saudi Arabian National Center for Science & Technology,Pakistan Desalination Association (PakDA), Arab Science & Technology Foundation, GCC Power & Water Desalination, Membrane Science & Technology Network (MSNT), Water Environment Federation (WEF), Water Industry Executives, Water Professionals, Water Technologies, Seawater Desalination, etc. Technical reports & publications: Critically reviewed and scientifically evaluated 210 technical reports of various Research Projects (i.e., 20 Applied, 30 Material Evaluation and 160 Troubleshooting), 253 Research Project Proposals (i.e., 25 Applied, 51 Material Evaluation and 177 Troubleshooting) and more than 100 Papers for presentations/publications at different Conferences. He has been a peer reviewer of Elsevier’s Journal “Desalination”, Amsterdam, Netherlands, and also a member of the Reviewers’ Panel of “Singapore International Water Week” since 2013. He has published more than 100 publications in the peer reviewed Journals Awards: He has received Memento Shield from H.E. the SWCC Governor for active participation in winning the most prestigious "Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz International Award for Water (2006/2008)". He also received many merits & Scholarships while doing his honors.
